Important: About Our Name. Pueraria javanica is NOT invasive kudzu
Kudzu Seeds Trading supplies Pueraria javanica (PJ), a beneficial tropical legume used across Southeast Asian plantations for erosion control and nitrogen fixation. This is NOT Pueraria montana, the invasive “kudzu” vine regulated in parts of the USA. P. javanica is a managed agricultural input; it does not spread invasively under plantation conditions. All our seeds are tested to ISTA and AOSA methods.

Integrated pest management
Plantation pest management: rhinoceros beetle control
Kudzu RB Lure is an aggregation-pheromone lure (ethyl 4-methyloctanoate) for mass-trapping adult coconut rhinoceros beetle (Oryctes rhinoceros) in oil palm and coconut plantations. It is a monitoring and population-reduction tool used as part of an integrated pest management program, not a pesticide, and it makes no eradication guarantee.
Protects young and replanted palms
Oryctes adults bore into palm crowns and spears; mass pheromone trapping lowers adult pressure during the vulnerable establishment stage.
Non-chemical, IPM-friendly
traps target adult beetles with a pheromone; use alongside sanitation of breeding sites such as decaying logs and compost heaps. Results vary by trap density, placement, and local beetle pressure.
